Wudan Yan is a powerhouse freelancer. She came to journalism with no formal experience, having career transitioned from academia. She swapped her pipettes for a pen and hasn’t looked back since.
Wudan writes magazine features about health, science and the environment for publications including the New York Times, National Geographic, Scientific American and many more. She’s also a fact-checker for a range of clients, including authors, podcasts and newspapers. Along with Jenni Gritters, Wudan co-hosts The Writers’ Co-op, a business podcast for freelance writers.
